Toughest Family

The obstacle course experience in a shorter format

Hard to decide? Then Toughest Family may be for you! At our Family race, you’ll get the same experience as our main race, but in a shorter format. Try a selection of our obstacles, adapted so even the youngest can handle them. Run with your friends or bring your kids and share the fun!

Practical information
What is done to limit infection spread?

Ensuring that our events can be arranged in a safe and responsible manner is a top priority for us. If needed, we will make adjustments to the event area, create smaller starting groups and extend the time between each start. We are in close communication with authorities to ensure that the event complies with current regulations. Participants should keep up to date and respect current recommendations from local authorities.

Where can I find my starting number?

Your starting number will be notified via E-mail about 4-5 days prior to the event and will be published on this page.

When will I start?

Your starting group and starting time will be notified simultaneously as your starting number (see above).

Where can I collect my starting envelope?

Your starting envelope is available for pick up at the event area from 09:30. Please collect your starting envelope at least 30-60 minutes before your starting time.

Important: Remember to bring your registration ID, starting number and a valid identification card.

When will the event start?

The event starts around 10:00.

Water stations

Keeping hydrated is important when participating in a race. Throughout the course, you will find water stations where you can rehydrate. Water will also be available at the finish line.

Where can I find my finisher photo?

Finisher photos can be taken at the dedicated area at the finish zone. The pictures will be published on our Facebook page the week after the event.

Transportation

Getting there
Bike

Bicycle racks and/or bicycle parking will be available close to the event area.

Car

If you choose to go by car, set your GPS to “Holmenkollen”. There are parking spots at the event area. However, we recommend you to use other transportation if possible.

Public transport

Take the metro train no. 1 towards “Frognerseteren”. Hop off at “Holmenkollen” station. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the event area.

Food court

Food and drink is available for purchase at our open food court. At every event, we do our best to offer a range of food trucks to facilitate all tastes.

Amenities

At your service
Wardrobe / Bag drop

Our participants may use the dedicated bag drop at the event area. Your wardrobe slip is included in your starting envelope (do not lose it!). Although the wardrobe is monitored by our crew, we do not take responsibility for theft and loss of valuables.

Toilets

Toilets will be available at the event area.

Our concept

During the race, you will encounter a wide range of different obstacles of varying size and difficulty level. Run, walk, jump, crawl or climb. The choice is all up to you. Our courses are designed so that everyone can complete them on their own terms.
