About Toughest Family

Who can run Toughest Family?

Children must be at least 5 years old (based on birth year). All underaged participants must be accompanied by at least one adult (18+ years). All adults take full responsibility for the underage participants in their group. Underage participants must receive permission from their parents/legal guardians via the dedicated form.

It is important that all adults make an assessment at each obstacle and help children in their group to complete the obstacle in a safe manner.

Read more about our age requirements

That being said, running with children is not mandatory! Many adults choose this race as a lighter and less challenging alternative to our main race.
