Practical information
Are there any physical requirements?

No, our courses are designed so that anyone, regardless of their physical level, can complete them on their own terms. Complete the obstacle by yourself or do it together with your team mates! Walk and rest when you need to.

Do I need to complete all obstacles?

No. All obstacles are optional and you decide if you wish to make an attempt or not.

How long is the course?

You can find the estimated course length on top of this page. Note that the distance is approximate and that local deviations may occur due to existing terrain and conditions. Therefore in some cases the course might be longer or shorter.

Is there an age limit?

Is it safe?

Your safety is a top priority for us. We take extra precautions to ensure that our participants can complete the race as safely as possible. Medical staff is present at the event area, on the course and by our water obstacles.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No, swimming ability is not a requirement. Although water obstacles may be present, these are always optional.

When will I get my starting number and start time?

Your starting number and start time will be notified via e-mail about 4-5 days before the race. The starting list will also be published on this page.

Where can I collect my starting envelope?

Your starting envelope is available for pick up at the event area from 09:30. Please collect your starting envelope at least 30-60 minutes before your starting time. Inside the envelope you will find your race bib and timing chip (main race only).

Important: Remember to bring your registration ID (found in your e-mail confirmation), starting number and a valid ID card.

When will the race start?

The race starts around 10:00.

Water stations

Keeping hydrated is important when participating in a race. There will be a water station after about halfway through the course as well as one after the finish line. If you need more fluids than this, we recommend bringing your own water bottle.

Bag drop / wardrobe

Our participants may use the dedicated bag drop at the event area. Although the bag drop is manned by our crew, we do not take responsibility for any theft or loss of belongings. We recommend that you store your valuables at a more guarded location if possible.

Where can I find my finisher photo?

Finisher photos can be taken at the dedicated area at the finish zone. The pictures will be published on our Facebook page the week after the event.

Transportation & Parking

Getting there

NOTE: We recommend our participants to use public transport or carpool if possible. There are lots of people at our races and parking spots are limited.

Bike

Bicycle racks and/or bicycle parking will be available close to the event area.

Car

If you choose to go by car, set your GPS to “Holmenkollen Nasjonalanlegg”. However, we recommend you to use other transportation if possible.

There are several parking locations near the event area. Use the map below to get there.
Note that parking fees are applicable.

Public transport

Take the metro train no. 1 towards “Frognerseteren”. Hop off at “Holmenkollen” station. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the event area.

Food and drink is available at the event area. The menu varies for each event and we do our best to offer something for all tastes.
