Specific rules for Toughest Tour and Championship

When competing in the Tour, it is important that you have read and understand our competition rules as well as the terms stated on this page.

The basics

All competition rules apply in all Tour races.
Tour points can be earned in our main races.
Total earned points before the tour final will used as basis for your head start in the chase start. Although participating in more than one race is not required, it will increase your chances of improving your points and head start.
Only the Elite class is part of the Tour. Qualifiers and Wildcards are not part of the Tour and can not earn points. However Wildcards may “block” points from Elite athletes if they finish among the top 20.
To become Toughest Champion, you must participate in the Tour finale and be the first to cross the finishline.
It is required to participate in an eventual prize ceremony if you finish among the top three. This applies to all our main races, as well as the final. Info regarding an eventual prize ceremony will provided during the pre-race meeting.
All tour participants are required to use our official Tour vest which will be ordered during registration. The vest must be used during the entire race, on all races. Without a valid Tour vest you will not be allowed to participate.

Points can be earned in all main races in the Toughest Tour, except at the final race which is the last scheduled main race of the season.
Points are reset after each season.
Points are earned according to the point system described on this page.
Only Tour athletes are eligible for earning points.
One (1) point will be converted into one (1) second head start in the Tour finale.
