OCR World Championships


The OCR World Championships is the first global championship for the sport of Obstacle Course Racing. It is an event created to unify, promote, and increase participation in the sport of OCR while celebrating its amazing athletes and community.


Cincinnati, Ohio and the Mud, Guts, & Glory venue has been selected as the inaugural host of the OCRWC. The race will take place on October 17-18, 2015.


Athletes can qualify to compete in the  OCRWC based on his/her performance at specific Qualifying Races. Participants are required to provide proof of results at the time of registration.

Entry into the OCRWC is limited issued to qualified athletes on a first come, first served basis. Spots will be limited.

Toughest is chosen to be the qualifier for OCR World Championships in the Northern Europe & Scandinavian region. Participate in one of the Toughest races and be among the top 20 of your gender to qualify.


We introduced veteran divisions in 2015 for runners aged 40+. The top 3 men and women competing in veteran classes in one of our Toughest races qualify for the OCRWC. The veteran age groups are: 40-44 years, 45-49 years, 50+.
